SWOG has taken up Udaypur for its field based programme after a brief analysis of the socio- economic conditions of the district. The programme has mainly focused on awareness raising, human resource development, indigenous skill development, health and sanitation and income generation activities. Besides it has also been involved in child right, education and health including HIV/AIDS campaign, HIV/AIDS prevention program through peoples education, Child education program in 21 schools of 75 centres in 22 VDC and 1 municipality, Natural Resource Management is also and area where this organization demonstrate its commitment by enhancing the capacity of rural people. SWOG has been making efforts to organize marginal farmers & tribal communities of this area. The formation of Chelibati Club, Saraswoti Mabila Club, Jagriti Club, Nava Jagaran Youth Club information service Center, Jalpa Yuba Club are some of the efforts of SWOG in developing local Leadership. These local NGOs are making endeavors for the empowerment of poor and marginalized people. This organization is also the founder of NGO Coordination Committee for the UNICEF program in Udaypur district.
